Ina Garten, an American writer of cookery cookbooks as well as Emmy Award-winning host of the Food Network's most popular program, Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 has 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began her career by working at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget as well as policy documents. After initially finding the job interesting and stimulating, she soon became bored with it. Barefoot Contessa was then bought. After nearly 18 years of making the shop a massive success she decided to sell it and started creating her first novel. After that, several cookbooks were published and she also contributed to magazine articles. A different hit is the Food Network Television show. Additionally, she sells items ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and other equipment. Ina did not go to a cooking school and has not been employed in restaurants. She is self-taught. She is a simple cook and for her entertaining cooking style. Her most well-known recipes include simple recipes such as Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese using Beef Bourguignon as well as Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
