Zoe-perry

Perry is Perry is a Chicago native, she was born into Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Two of her earliest television appearances were as Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played the role. The parents of her were not keen to let her perform until she turned an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry claims she never wanted to perform in high school but decided to take up performing as a form of social interaction during her time at Northwestern University when she switched from Boston University. Perry moved to New York, where she got small roles on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The feeling of homesickness led Perry her back home California and theater roles were available. She and her mother starred on Broadway as a couple for the play The Other Place, in 2013. The show featured her father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in 2015 in The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry was a part of the drama's nine episodes from 2016 on ABC's drama The Family. Her father played her on the ABC Drama Scandal. She also played in the role of a younger Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon which was an CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. The character was chosen via auditions though she had a close connection with it.
